The SMS Student Council did a fantastic job for Teacher Appreciation week 2022. They came up with the theme of star wars and have had many out of this world treats for the SMS Staff. Thanks to the VERY generous contributions of the SMS Families, each day gift cards have been raffled out to the staff.

Mr. Morneault ran a 3×3 basketball tournament to celebrate March Madness.  All SMS students were invited to play.  17 teams started the competition.  They narrowed the teams down to the Elite 8, then Final 4, and finally the Championship.  All students in the competition were caring, cooperative, and respectful and showed the utmost sportsmanship throughout the entire tournament.

 In this experiment the 7th grade students in Mrs. Norby’s Science Class tested how many times they could chomp on bubble gum for a certain amount of time. They also calculated how many chomps they could do in 5 minutes, an hour, and a day.
