Winter is that time of Year when we challenge ourselves, our teammates, and our competing schools to the great sport of wrestling. One thing for sure, It is Definitely time to roll out the mats and get to the business at hand “MAT TIME”
So, in two weeks, this year’s wrestling program will begin and should be an exciting one.
Students and staff at South Meadow School enjoyed a day of fun this past Halloween.
Students in Mrs. Baker’s class display and describe some of their treasures with classmates in a round of Show & Tell.

Dear parents of ANY South Meadow School Student that would like to play a 2022-23 Winter Sport at South Meadow School, starting November 7th, 2022.
My name is Tod Silegy and I am starting my 23rd year at South Meadow School as Physical Education Teacher, Athletic Director, and Boys Soccer Coach and Girls Soccer Coach.
Basketball tryouts for all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys or girls, will begin Monday, November 7th.
Below is the tryout schedule for the 2022-2023 season:
Boys Tryouts: 2:30 – 4:00 PM on Monday 11/7, Wednesday 11/9, and Thursday 11/10
Girls Tryouts: 4:00 – 5:30 PM on Monday 11/7,
Calling all students interested in participating in the school play this year! There will be an informational meeting held on November 29. Before then, you can take a look at the Drama Club’s bulletin board; the production calendar for the year has been posted there, as well as the title of the play and a general list of characters.

In the bubble lab, students were determining which dish soap blows the biggest bubble by using a Scientific Process.
Parents/Guardians got to meet teachers and staff at the Fall Open House at South Meadow School outdoors. It was a great evening to enjoy the fresh air, great weather, and an added treat of nachos from the Pizza Oven.
