South Meadow School is excited that we have four students competing in the Special Olympics at Waterville Valley in the snowshoeing events. Before the events started, they got to meet Ray Brewer from WMUR.
The South Meadow School 8th Grade students attended the ConVal Career Fair at the ConVal High School. As a class assignment, students had a “Career Passport” they needed to complete by visiting at least three employers.
One of the highlights of the recent ATC Tour by South Meadow School students was the Fire Science / Fire Fighting Program. Students were able to hear about what the program would cover as well as trying on the gear.
The 6th Grade learned about the Pacific Northwestern Tribes of North America and the unique art that was created in that region. The students learned about tints and shades and created value scales with different colors of acrylic paint.
Students in Ms. Russell’s Art classes create a variety of imaginative artistic pieces using a diverse selection of materials.
