Turkey Trot
November 10, 2015 @ 1:00 pm - 2:10 pm
South Meadow School 2015 Annual Turkey Trot will be held on Tuesday, November 10th! (Rain Date Nov.13)
Grades 5 and 6 begin the race at 1:05 on the upper field close to CVHS above the soccer field (the cross country starting area) and finish by the back upper parking lot. Grades 7 and 8 will begin at 1:20 on the same course.
The race is 1.35 miles long and is run on school grounds, the ConVal back path, and back through the woods to South Meadow School. There are cones along the way and our faculty will be spotters on the race course.
The top 5 boys and top 5 girls at each grade level will receive a shirt and the male and female winner of each race will win a gift certificate to Shaws for a turkey.
Please support our school wide effort to make our 2015 Turkey Trot a success. Parents are welcome to cheer at the finish line. Our motto is “We All Go” whether the student chooses to run, trot or walk briskly!
