During remote learning this spring, the South Meadow School 7th and 8th grade art students created their own emoji, used recycled products to create art and color wheels, and worked on a Silly Face Project.
Even with remote learning the South Meadow School 5th and 6th Grade art students were able to create and inspire!

Even with remote learning, students in Mrs. Norby’s 7th Grade Science class were still able to complete Rube Goldberg machines as a science project. These machines complete a simple task in a complex way using four to six simple machines and at least six steps.

The school board recently approved a new grading system for the final quarter due to the public health emergency.
During remote learning, South Meadow School
students in Ms. Russell’s classes are traveling around the world taking virtual
tours of London National Gallery, Washington DC National Gallery, and The Met
in New York City.
