The 6th Grade learned about the Pacific Northwestern Tribes of North America and the unique art that was created in that region. The students learned about tints and shades and created value scales with different colors of acrylic paint. The students then took what they had learned and created their own animal in the PNW style. They used what they had learned about value to add color.
