Today is an F Day

Lunch:  Baked Chicken Tenders, Dinner Roll, Carrots, Assorted Fruit, Assorted Deli, Grilled Cheese and Bacon Basket, Better Cheddar Lunchbox, Chicken Caesar Salad, Chicken/Cheeseburger/Hamburger, French Fries.          

Band:  Block F:  5th Grade Clarinet, Block B:  5th Grade Alto Saxophone, Plus Block:  6th Grade Band, Block C:   5th Grade Flute               

Chorus:  7th and 8th Grade Sopranos  

Select chorus singers: if you have not returned your permission slip to stay after school for rehearsal on Tuesday please make sure you turn it in TODAY.


The SMS Boys White Soccer Team will play at Home against Keene at 3:30pm

The SMS Girls Soccer Team will play at Home against Keene at 4:45pm

The SMS Field Hockey Team will play at Home against Keene at 3:30pm

The SMS Cross Country Race Team will have a meet at home against Keene starting at 3:30  

The SMS Boys Blue Soccer Team will have a game at Great Brook at 3:00pm and will dismiss for the bus 1:45pm.


Mr. Buffum, the SMS boys White Team basketball coach, will be holding OPEN GYM, starting this Thursday, September 26th, from 5:30-7:00. Mr. Buffum will continue holding open gym until the SMS basketball tryouts start in early November. Any boy or girl SMS student, grades 6th, 7th,or 8th, can participate. Open gym will be held in the SMS gymnasium.

Sweatshirts orders are ready, see Mrs. Brezovec if you are interested.

SKI CLUB:  Are you ready for SNOW?  The SMS ski club is ready for you.  For five days in January and February we will leave SMS by bus and go to Crotched Mountain for the afternoon and return to SMS at 7:00 for parent pick-up.  Even if you have never skied or snowboarded, you can join.  Lessons and rentals are available.  See Mrs. Brophy or Mrs. Groleau in the 6th grade wing for the paperwork.

  • Stop at intersections if there is another group moving 
  • Reduce to a zero voice during transitions when others are working in the hallway.

Community Service Opportunities:

The Champion Conval Boys Soccer and Girls Soccer Teams are in need of ball kids for their home games. It is a fun and easy way to earn up to 2 hours of community service per game. If you are interested in doing this, please note the sign up links are on our website.
